Most likely the firmware on your AES16e is out of date. Driver builds 59, 59a and 60 for these operating systems will not work with firmware versions older than 13.2.
If you have an Intel based Mac, you can resolve this by installing either driver build 58k, or 61. These drivers will install without issue, but you should then upgrade your AES16e firmware to 14.1 with the most recent firmware updater.
If you have an M1, there will be no way for the driver to install correctly with this older firmware. The solution would be to install the AES16e into an Intel based computer, load the appropriate driver, update the firmware to the latest, and then return the card to the M1 system. If you do not have access to an appropriate computer for this process, contact Lynx technical support to get a return authorization so we can update it for you.
