How to have the Aurora classic remember settings after powering off

If the Aurora is connected to a power strip or power conditioner that disconnects power from the unit, any changes that are made will be lost unless the Aurora is put into standby mode before the power is disconnected.

Again, to have the Aurora remember any setting changes, it must be put into standby mode by pressing the front panel standby switch before power is removed.
