1) Disconnect the Digilink cable from the Aurora
2) Connect MIDI cables to the Aurora MIDI input AND output. It must be bi-directional communication
3) Download and run the latest Aurora firmware updater. Only update the Aurora if the new version differs from the existing version (this will be shown from the main page of the updater)
4) When successfully completed, turn off the Aurora and unplug the AC power cord (or turn off the AC power source which the Aurora is connected to)
5) Run the Updater again
6) From the main screen, choose the LT-HD in the drop-down for "select device to program".
7) Run the updater, when completed successfully, again turn off AND unplug the Aurora.
8) When you plug it back in and turn it back on, the new firmware will be active.
9) Reconnect the Digilink cable
10) Verify that TO ANALOG OUT and TO DIGITAL OUT on the Aurora front panel are set to "LSLOT IN". If not, manually change this parameter from the Aurora front panel.
11) After launching ProTools, make sure that the Aurora SYNC SOURCE shows the intended clock source.
12) If the Analog inputs are NOT passing signal to Aurora, download and launch the Aurora Remote Control software, and navigate to the Digital I/O & Settings page. For LSLOT RECORD SOURCE 1-8, select "Analog In 1-8" For LSLOT RECORD SOURCE 9-16, select "Analog In 9-16"
