New Windows computer with Thunderbolt 4 or 5 port unable to see Aurora(n)-TB

Newer Windows computers with Thunderbolt 4 or 5 ports are unable to enumerate any Thunderbolt 1 or 2 devices, as those computers do not have backward compatibility with Thunderbolt 1 or 2.  This is the case for both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

The only solution is to upgrade the LT-TB card in the Aurora(n) to the LT-TB3 card, which will work with Thunderbolt 3, 4 and 5 computers.

Please note: This is not an issue with Macintosh computers.  They are all backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 1 or 2 devices.

It is not possible to upgrade the LT-TB card in the original Aurora 8 or Aurora 16 as the LT-TB3 card physically will not fit in the Aurora 8 or Aurora 16.
